Thanks. have you tried opening up the P2500 and: a) remove and reseat the ROMs? b) unplug and replug the ribbon cables? as a former computer technical support person, i can tell you that a good 90% of problems with computer gear (and the P2500 is a computer that makes sound, let's not kid ourselves) is loose chips and/or connectors. try doing the above stuff before declaring it dead or dying. if it's still got issues after doing that, do you have a local store that does service? or are you under warranty still with E-mu? if so, get it serviced. -- Bruddah Max Lord of the Dance
