I truly believe that you may have rec'd a rare unit in which something is seriously wrong at the core level- deeper than the surface problems that you have dealt with might indicate. I happens with occassionally all gear. I have had an XL7 for about 18 months - use it constantly - haul it out to gigs etc - never a single problem and the thing is built like a tank. It is seriously (I think) a crowning achievement evolved fromthe Emu module family. I would appeal to the higher ups at Emu to look carefully at your purchase/registration and repair history - perhaps that will acheive a positive resolve - but obviously this is just a suggestion from a civilian - I am not an Emu employee and I have no inlfuence with Emu. Good luck! and best regards Ed --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "xromxx7" <bonneau-c@w...> wrote: > Sorry to hear about that ...I had the misfortune to discover that > those units are not reliable at all (at least mine and some other > ones i know too !)...Feels like it was built to crash just after > warranty time has expired, so you had luck in some kind of way...
