Hi, here´s a tip for non musicians to create accents without using velocity, it was always quiet uncomfortable to edit accents in grid edit. So, I wanted to accent up and downbeats (16th) automatically. 1. set the main volume to 127 (so you never have to think about it again..) 2. set that chord: LFO 1+ -> Amp volume -> -008 (or anything) 3. set the LFO to Square 1/8 sync 4. set the preset amps 5.turn off vel-Amp, use vel for something else that´s it, accented and non accented 16th, invert Amp to change accents, set a second LFO to control LFO 1 to set other accents. No use 16th quantized realtime record, voila. Put Quantization to it last or program delays in the preset. Besides you can use a arp pattern (Key 0, Length 2/1) to create a synchronized synth, the note value in the arp menue sets the quantization. But you don´t have swing in the arp patterns, so that´´s one bad point for the XX-7, I think there is just the way to program delays in the preset menue, perhaps you could set some notes earlier than others or whatever.
