Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hi,

got a lot of new ideas and a lot new problems.

I want to assign a preset to play from  external. So, that works, but the
problem is a bit hard to understand, 
so...

I have my analog bass (MFB) connected to the MIDI B-OUT, say 16B, besides
there is my Electribe running 
and playing a preset I connected to an A-Port, say 15A.
If I want to record something on the B-channel the notes get merged with the
incoming data.

To make sure I checked the Midi Menue, track to , midi enable, local
control, but nothing, incoming data got 
always merged.

My MPC is between them, so it could be a midi loop, but hey I have to think
2 or 3 Weeks about it, hell, it´s 
getting complicated.

Just one idea, I use the Electribe R, so I decided to use it as main Drum
sequencers, the drum from the XX-7 
go back in the Audio in of the electribe, so that you can use the delay,
besides u can add a lot to drums that 
are triggered and edited at the Electribe simultan. 
Electribe has the best drum sequencer, really, really, live. Record that
rythm to a synth track is funny,too.
