Ah, the curse of digital systems.  We'll have to trot this post out the
next time someone complains about the "quiet" S/PDIF output.  Turning
down the track volume will cause it to not clip.  Of course, it will
probably throw your mix off, so you'll probably want to turn down the
other tracks as well.  If you want to try something temporarily, you
could use the master volume control, but in general, leaving that at
100% will give you the best quality output.
