there is a new MPC coming from akai I think its out already. Its supposed to be travel sized which generally means cheap and affordable. But to tell you the truth if youre looking for somethingmore treakable or more anything for that matter than an mpc good luck. I can only poit your attention towards the electribes. Theres a new korg electribe sampler that is supposed to be the shit because it uses vacum tubes to warm up the out going signal. And we all kno how importatnt it is to have a warm outgoing signal. plus you can run your mp-7 or xl-7 through its effects processors and have a more dynamic live set. you should probably check that out and see what people are saying about it. I would say that is your safest bet, besides a laptop >From: "mike" <curiousproductions@...> >Reply-To: xl7@yahoogroups.com >To: xl7@yahoogroups.com >Subject: [xl7] sync >Date: Thu, 02 Oct 2003 01:55:32 -0000 > >Any one using this in conjunction with a yamaha su700? > >I want a sampler that is more tweakable than a mpc and is smaller >than my e5000. > >Just wondering if there was any one out there.
