Im not sure youre correct but I may be incorrect also. but as I understand
it each sample may be assigned instantly to any midi controller or drum pad
you want using a few mouse clicks and a drop down menu or possibly a
keyboard short cut. I have intended to use the program as described but I
probably should have clarified that I intend to assign a sample to one midi
pad on my mp-7 and one pad only then record the sequence of that pad from my
mp-7 then assign another sample to another part maybe a snare drum then
record that part then record another sequence from my mp-7 as described than
using live's sequencer I can mix and apply effects as desired. and use the
sequences I created in live throught my song as I wish.. if in fact abletons
live were not able to do this it would be basically useless as a fully
functional sampler. I seriously doubt all this is just wishfull thinking on
my part. How could it not be possible.. I am pretty sure Im right as all
this is not so hard to accomplish via midi and software.
