I had the Yamaha SU 700, I did really like their filters they are really ......you know. The sequencer is terrible. The difference between mpc and e-5000 is very far, you can``t play anything else than drums and <FX wth the mpc, cause the loop don`t points are from end to beginning, so f.ex. a piano needs that characteristic sound at the beginning. That`s what the e-5000 can. I made that mistake, too as buying the mpc. Think about the Korg Electribe S or the yama Qy 10 sequenzer. I think the Korg Electribe S would be your choice for ... techno..... )what´s that? ...... C. I want a sampler that is more tweakable than a mpc and is smaller than my e5000.
