If he is looking for a full blown sequencer package, then you are 
correct, this will not be the utility that he is looking for.  If he 
was looking for a playback only utility (which I assumed) used for 
downloading new presets and arp patterns, then this is the one that 
he can use.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
