Please check out the faq section here, those things you ask are in there...new os, resetting to factory specs, etc. i found that faq section very useful when i was a new xx-7 owner. As far as the manual is concerned, i'm not sure what the deal is...anyone here know if the binder manual is packaged with new units only? so if you got a second hand unit w/out hard copy, your only option would be pdf? i got the manual w/ my unit so i am curious bout this...if ever i lost mine and wanted another hard copy. --- In xl7@yahoogroups.com, "laker482" <laker482@c...> wrote: > Hi, > I just purchased an MP7 off of ebay and it has OS 1.0 loaded on. > According to the EMU website if I understand correctly I can't get > the latest OS update from E-Loader through USB because USB is only > supported from a subsequent OS upgrade.
