By non standard (in the doc files) I was refering to note durations 
not supported by the xx-7 (although you could actually create these 
by using TIEs)  Right now the durations are parsed by: note off dtime-
note on dtime /division then matched to a lookup table.  I am working 
on tightening up the table so it would actuall quantize to the xx-7 
supported durations (look for this in the actual beta)

verify that they are in fact format 1..The check occurs by reading in 
bytes 9 & 10 of the midi file 00 00 for type 0  and 00 01 for type 1.
If you do verify that they are type 1 let me know and i can 
investigate further.
