If you're still learning the XL-7 and the keyboard, why not just wait to buy a sampler for a bit? If you get it you know you're going to want to use it, and that just makes one more thing to learn. I'm a firm believer that you should have a pretty good grasp of a piece of gear before you start adding to the collection. It definitely makes everything less frustrating in the long run. rEalm Samplers - I'm looking hard right now for one, and a used A4000/A5000 looks nice, but I may get a SU200 for now, since I've still got a lot to learn on the XL-7, not to mention deciding on a keyboard.
