True. The XL-7 is easily as good as an entry-level fader box, and
fader boxes can cost anything from $100 (which I think is what I paid
for each of my FaderBabies) up into four figures. (The Motor-Mix is
around $1000.)

The Motor-Mix is from CM Labs (Carl Malone's company), not JLC.

True. The Motor-Mix is somewhat overkill for studio work, but
indispensable for live performance.
