Hi, Just picked up a new XL-7, I'm looking at the Korg MicroKontrol, with its drum pads and 8 knobs and 8 sliders. If I connect this keyboard to the XL-7 will I be able to patch its knobs/sliders to the XL-7's parameters such as the modulation matrix (patchcords), effects settings, LFOs, EG's, etc? I'm sure I will but will it be an intuitive and streamlined process? Also, I'm looking for a studio sampler like the E-mu Ultra series or the A3000, A4000, or A5000 from Yamaha. I like the fact Yamahas are filled with many effects, and from what I've read, are easier to use. I don't need to burn ROMS, since this setup will be used at home. I want a sampler that works like Recycle, and allows twisted sound manipulation and synth capabilites for abstract and IDM music. Money is an issue, so used is the word here. I guess reliablity too. What I'm looking for is a powerful system consisting of 3 pieces, the XL-7 for its sequencer and ROM sounds, a MIDI keyboard with knobs (for more control), and a studio sampler with effects. Maybe an FX box if the sampler doesn't have many. I looked at the RS7000 for a while but it looks limiting, and I've told I can get more power out of seperate components. My concern is weither using all 3 devices together will be smooth and relatively easy. Thanks in advance for any advice, Mike
