I used to own the rs7000, and it is quite a capable unit, but I like 
to leave my sampling to my laptop and Ableton Live :)  You are right, 
though, they are incredibly stable.  It is unfortunate that the rs7k 
has some of the same major design flaws as the rm1x, which I also had 
for a long time.

I feel ya on that one.  I owned a MicroQ for a few months, and 
eventually had to sell the thing because of its stability issues.  
This is really funny now that I think about it:  So many people tell 
me that I am crazy for trusting a laptop on stage because of crashes, 
but I have never had one crash before (knock on wood), whereas much 
of the hardware that I have owned in the past is horribly unstable.
