Emu XL-7 & MP-7 User's Group

Hello group I'm Larry, can anyone tell me why I'm getting the  "not 
installed" reading on my MP7 (Ver 2.0) screen when I try to change 
patches from an external sequencer? in order to remove the not 
installed screen I have to turn the dial to another preset which I do 
not want to use. thanks
