Addtional basic options/tricks:
--apply LFOs to amp pan on 1 or more layers (patchcords)
--with above, set LFO on one layer to + value, set LSO on another laywer
to - value [crossfade effect]
--copy a layer to an unused layer and do pan spread on layers, then alter
parameters of your choice ever so slightly
   (eg., filters)
--on different layers with pan spread, set CCs to respond to layers
differently
