> >>>You could go to the Preset Edit menu, and change the pan >settings, that would be the easiest. > rEalm Your little trick is cool rEalm but I always thought that Mono refers to monophonic not monoaural (the contrary of Polyphonic...one sample "kills" the other), as you must know, basically every sample is mono in a synth, especially in the XL1/XL7 ...(I'm sure it works like like this on the orbit3 which is one of the rare synths to have stereo samples onboard though!)....So it may have more to do with groups in preset edit than Pan...But maybe I'm wrong.........
