  some good and some bad news (or is it gossip?)...

  starting with the bad news... apparently midiquest stopped developing 
  for the proteus2500 because emu refused them the loan of a machine (i 
  got this from a guy on the SOSforum who has been in contact with 
  midiquest about this same issue)

  the good news from someone at the same forum is more of a "between 
  the lines" kinda post ... i'll paste it for ye...
