I tried again with the same results, all of the layers appear to be using 
samples from the same ROM.  If you press Randomize while in a User Bank, 
it defaults to the Rom that shipped with the unit.  Otherwise, you need to 
be in a particular ROM bank when you press Randomize for it to use those 
samples.

And did anyone get anywhere on the randomizing using more than one rom?
