These samples can be arranged over keys and/or velocities. Once you see the keymap, it should be pretty clear. The only thing is that the kits can have up to 4 instruments (read this as 4 collections of drum sounds) so going from instrument keymap to preset keymap can be a bit annoying. It's not *so* bad considering most presets use large (if not exclusive) chunks of instruments (i.e. one instrument from C1 thru C6, and then maybe a synth instrument elsewhere).
