I understand, but I might suggest that anytime someone new can get a clear 
explanation of what a VCO is, then it's worthwhile. For example, even 
though that someone reads an explanation of a Moog 921 (VCO) they can still 
apply the basic text to any VCO.

Granted, it may generate questions like "Why doesn't my ___ VCO have a 
HardSync jack", but that means that they're learning- which is way cool.

Actually, you may want to set the scope of what you're trying to do. I have 
a good number of modular synth links (generic and otherwise) sitting in my 
bookmarks file that I'd be happy to share, but I think that each one may 
push the edge of what you're trying to do just a bit further.

It would be _awesome_ to have all this stuff in one place though!

you should check the arp 2600 manual... best introduction to modular 
synths in general i've seen so far. and extremely funny too. ( for 
this manual: see the link on my webpage http://www.ork.yucom.be ) 
highly recommended - be sure to check the first twenty pages.
