Ahem, I believe that review was in Electronic Musician magazine, Mr. Chang. ;-)

Frank,

I realize that I am speaking on Grant's behalf, so I await his
correction of my statements. I am just putting this out there as
perspective....

When I had first met Grant over the phone, it was just after a Robert
Rich review of the Wiard 300 appeared in Keyboard Magazine. By the
time that I decided to order, there, he was besieged with well over a
year of orders. What resulted was a very gloomy and sullen Grant -
imprisoned by our "love". There were no options - just go downstairs
and build modules. I truly believe that repearing this situation is
something that GR will avoid at all costs.

I think that that is why Grant has continued to build 300 Series
modules as individual custom orders - he wants freedom and flexibility
in his life to do things that are important to him as well as crete
and manufacture synthesizer modules. That essentially means spreading
out his 300 Series stuff over time - and turning down offers from time
to time so that he can be normal....

I personally have discussed several things with Grant, but these
projects are on hold until "brighter days" appear, when he has more
time, or I have more money to make my projects more attractive. So, I
am specking out of experience - a happy Grant is a creative Grant.
Obligating him to the point where he can't ride his Vespa around town
for kicks ultimately does no one any good.

Respectfully,

gary

Hey, there, Gino Robair! I understand that you are in Miami:
    http://www.subtropics.org/

That's my neck of the woods, so I am hoping that I can make it to one of
your perfomances on Friday or Saturday. Problem is, the Subtropics schedule
page is at once very lengthy (and redundant) yet somewhat vague (and
redundant). By the way, I missed the first week entirely because the
Subtropics promotional efforts were not the greatest, this year.

Anyway, the schedule page refers to street performances Lincoln Road --
well, heck, it's close to a mile long! Are the Lincoln Road performances
near ArtCenter? (To the curious: Lincoln Road is a pedestrian mall with no
vehicular traffic.)

I'd love to catch your show tonight but I am extrememly sleep-deprived today
and will surely be crashing soon. :-(

This is certainly OT for the Wiard list, but maybe someone else in Miami
will find out about Gino's shows this way, so I hope y'all will pardon the
digression.
