I finished diddling with the Borg 2 design and prepaid orders are shipping this week.

Design Notes:

Keeps all the good things from the original design but adds a couple nice enhancements.

1. The Vactrols have been upgraded to "warp" speed Silonex NSL-32SR3. The module will 
gate with a 2 millisecond control pulse. This increases the top end usable BPM, which is 
kind of low with a VTL5C3. Call this one the "better for dance tracks" model.

2. The non-linear circuit elements from the MS-20 resonance loop have been added and 
that op-amp brought out as an output. This gives you a built in mild distortion device. 
There is a red jumper on the back that can be moved to disconect the limiting diodes. 
Dual outputs can be used in stereo.

I'll get around to updating the web page at some point. Price is US$312.00 in black or blue 
engraved faceplate. Delivery of the first "batch" is around 4 weeks.

There are no plans to change existing Borg 300 series filters to a different design. It just 
won't work with the 300 series layout using the discreet FET buffer (I tried).
