This has turned out to be a yahoo-wide problem. We have several community lists (the elementary school!) on yahoo, and we're getting this kind of spam there, too. I'm sure Yahoo is burning the midnight oil in the filter department.

Hi All,
Just wanted to let you know that I'm aware of the porn spam, but unfortunately to my knowledge there isn't anything I can do about it at the moment. Whomever is behind these messages has figured out a way to post them without being a member of the list. I'm guessing that Yahoo is working on the problem, but I suppose time will tell. In the meantime, I hope it doesn't get worse. If it does I can always switch to an "admin approval required" mode. That'll slow messages down a little, but will guarantee that the spam won't show up to list members.
