I prefer the AS-VCO and Filters over the Doepfer-Modules, but the Wiard and Technosaurus VCO's are in terms of Sound (roundness, fullness) (IMHO of course) much better. In terms of flexibility my Wiard-VCO's beats all the others including the Selector. One thing is interesting: My little A110 Doepfer-VCO's makes some very nice, fat and dirty sounds when you modulate them a tiny little bit with noise (in my case: doepfer pink/red noise). Too bad that I never tried that with the AS-VCO's, but I sold them. But I still work with a AS Multimode-Filter and the AS-Bode in my Doepfer Frame. I like the AS Multimode as it is very flexible, but in almost every case I prefer to use one of the Wiard Filters. But I guess some might like that kind of dirtyness of the AS-Filters resonance.
