> What were the features? > Apologies if this has been revealed before or it comes under the 'official > secrets act'. > CW I don't think it's a secret, In fact, I think Grant may have posted some info on this group last fall. anyway... What I played was a prototype so I'll intone the following disclaimer and then spill the beans- designer capriciousness disclaimer: Grant may well change his mind about what features from his prototype should/can be included in a production model or he may even abandon the whole project and make a solar flare alarm instead. Knowing Grant, nothing would surprise me! having stated that, the gadget I played had 1 VCO, a variable waveshaper, A VCF, A VCA, an LFO (sqr & tri) & an ADSR. The 'keyboard' was a stylus on metal pads, there was one chromatic kbd and four modal rows of pads, the intervals of which were fixed in four modes. (ie Aeolian, Dorian, Lydian etc) It was small enough to hold in one hand and the sound was startlingly beefy. Routing was done with switches. I'm sure Grant will correct me if memory has not served me well here -doc
