One of the things that attracted me to the Wiard was the graphics- it's nice to see a musical instrument that doesn't just look like a piece of test equipment. This was also a way to get the equivalent of the Serge dual universal slope generator, which in Wiard is the Envolator. The classic VCO functions as a complete voice module, since it also has a VCA and AR. One other thing I did, though, was buy a bunch of blank panels with just the cool blue anodizing, and filled them with my own stuff. Pictures of this are on the web site http://curtin.emf.org/. And no, there are no labels, I let the knob layout and banana jack colors speak for themselves :). It was a treat to drive down to Ann Arbor to hear and see Mike Furman's dual Wiard rack in action last Friday night- well done! This was the first time I saw all the modules in person. The LEDs tell a lot about what's happening in the system and are a nice light show in and of themselves.
