yeah i'm new to the whole yahoo groups setup. it ain't bad but i'm used to the whole typical message board setup. i think it'd be cool if wiard added a forum like that to the wiard site.
i suggest http://www.phpbb.com/
i'm pretty sure it's free and it seems the board would easily get traffic as i get wiard yahoo emails everyday.

your second thought appeared before your first!
When i saw this, i cringed on your behalf...
As a frequent poster on this group, myself, i'm sympathetic about
this. It happens to me sometimes too and sentiments out of sequence
can REALLY mess up the expression of one's intentions.
This is an endemic drawback to the Yahoo group forums. The posting is
not a FIFO queue, and it's subject to a long list of vagaries within
Yahoo's server-tangle. Sheriff Mike (our generous moderator) has no
control over this either. Even if he set the queue wide-open, the
posting sequence would still be haphazard. i know this because it
happens in some other yahoo groups to which subscribe that are
completely unmoderated.

-lord knows MY ears have been red with embarrassment a few times while
staring, dumbfounded at the cheerful "Message POSTED!!!" notice. Itchy
trigger fingers go with the territory on web forums.
(That's why, at least in my case, it's a very GOOD thing Mike is
diligently on the job!)
