The reason why you don't get any emails is probably the challenge-response spam filter you use. 1. The mailing list server sends you an email. 2. Your mail server spits back a challenge email. 3. The mailing list server gets your challenge email, has no idea what to do with it and files it away in /dev/null. 4. Your mail server gets no response to its challenge so does not deliver the mailing list post to you.
