that's something i've noticed about my boogie too, just how quiet it
is, and how "hi-fi" it sounds, for want of a better adjective. it
exudes quality and scientific precision! it's certainly the cleanest
sounding filter in my collection as regards noiselessness.

the 6dB mode is great for getting rid of hiss noise whilst letting the
rest of the signal through unaltered, e.g. with noisy passive guitar
pickups etc.

how would people describe the difference between the sound of the
boogie 1200 and the borg 1200, is it worthwhile to own both?

i've not heard the omni, what type of filter is it?
