I visited Grant last week - he's an interesting chap and a fine host -- and picked up the new filter. My reaction? It's absolutely wonderful!!! Great design, very quiet, incredible sound. It, of course, can resonate into self-oscillation, and in a really useful and manageable way (not overpowering and dangerous like the Borg). It is warm and phat, great for those chilly winter compositions. The big frequency knob is also a grand attraction. The Boogie will now be generally used in my system as the primary sound-sculpting filter and the Borg as my stereo tone control filter. A Boogie and a Borg?? God save Ireland! I'm all smiles and joy and contentment. In a world of uncertainty, anxiety, and disaster . . . well at least we have Grant and his fabulous designs for our creative desires and impulses. I will get a Blacet In/Out next so I can use these tools on theremin, guitar, electric thumb piano, etc. Thanks to Grant (and Mr. Blacet). Reflect on your accomplishments and contributions to the positive side of what we call civilization. Sincerely Bill Gibson
