Paia Grand

Paia Grand

2008-03-22 by rorymcd@mac.com

I recently built set pieces for a local community theatre production
of YOU'RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN.
Since I had needed Schroeder's piano, I decided to make one using a
Paia CV keyboard.
It is 3 1/2 x 3 ft and was built to allow a full grown man to stand on
it.
The Paia keyboard is fully functional but wasnt used that way in the
show.
Now I have a unique and classy Paia controller!

That's cool Rory!

Your design made me want a version where the piano lid is hinged on
the front by the keyboard, and instead of standing on the lid, it's a
huge rack for all my modules, mixers, and efx. When the lid is closed,
it looks like a grand. When it's open, it looks like a modular.

But of course, I'd need those hefty roadies again to move it for me;^)
