Desoldering station for sale

Desoldering station for sale

2004-12-01 by David Rogoff

I just finished replacing all the CMOS chips in my CS-80. I'm done
with my desoldering station, so I'm selling it. It's a Weller
Desoldering Rework/Repair Station Model # DS600.

If anyone is interested, here's the link to the eBay auction where I
bought it a couple of months ago:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3841768300
As you can see, I paid $100 + $20 shipping. I'll let it go to anyone
in the group for the same price. If I don't get an offer in the next
week, I'll put it up on eBay).

It works great. The tip is perfect for DIPs and other through-hole
parts. The only trick I figured out was to clear out the hole every
couple of DIPs by using a resistor lead. With that it was flawless
for about a 100 14/16pin DIPs. I can't imagine trying to do this work
with my little Soldapult!

Thanks,

David
