Octave Cat SRM allignment/calibration proceedure?

Octave Cat SRM allignment/calibration proceedure?

2003-11-03 by Bob Weigel

Well, I got the thing fixed. The bloomin' 2K resistor went open that's in
the temp compensate position over the CA3046 transistor array...and made an
op amp go offset that overloaded the 330 ohm loaded power source! My
diagram does NOT show that! Weak. Oh well..lot of wasted time there. But
now it's hard to calibrate. Using the keyboard current trim I can get the
note spacings right on osc 1 and that seems the only way. But then other
things are just way out of wack still. I'm not sure it will calibrate but a
good proceedure is the place to start of course if possible. -Bob

Oh Fiddlesticks (there's one we haven't heard for a while!) :-). I grabbed
the wrong pack of resistors and wound up making a 2.42K 1% in my effort to
make 2K. Slapping about 11.6K across it brought everything in to where it
calibrates now. -Bob
