Hi everyone,

I just obtained a Univox SR-95 rhythm machine (ebay) which is the 
U.S. model of the Korg Mini-Pops 7, made in 1966.  I was aware when I 
purchased it that the Guiro fader (a simple volume slider) wasn't 
working, and thought I'd have a go at repairing it myself.  Before I 
touch it I just wanted to see if anyone here has worked on one of 
these (or something similar) and if you have any pointers, 
do's/don'ts that might help me out.  The last thing I want to do is 
destroy this lovely machine!
