What a shame to put such a nice synth in storage that long.
I guess I was one of the last to hear it then, since I was at the "A" tour
in LA.

I talked to EJ at the 2002 NAMM about "The UK CS-80"; it has been in
storage in Pasadena since the 1980 Jethro Tull tour. Still, provided that
moisture has not gotten into the storage area, I would expect the machine
to be in good shape, although some of the 4000-series chips might need
replacing.
