Definately keep the TX-7. Groovy machine, I wouldn't get rid of mine
either.
If you are playing live, you don't want something too big or one likely
to break down on you. So if I had 1U rack space left over for my live
stuff, I would get a new style E-Mu Vintage Pro, and load up the other
ROM space with Virtuoso card. Very nice.
You'll probably want to flog your old Vintage Keys too.
