Web site seems to suggest they will be sampled from a mellotron The nord wave comes shipped with all 68 instruments of the Mk I, Mk II, M300 and M400

Really not that unusual for big-ticket keyboards. Piano stores sometimes have to hold grands (especially full-sized ones) in inventory for several years
