So I go back to the same hobby shop / art store to buy some stick on letters 
only to find *plastic* I-beams, H-beams, T-beams, channels of every size and 
shape.  Doh!  I also found brass channels much like J Hendry found only these 
looked like thinner metal and they don't extend any further over the edge of 
a module than the wood H-beams I bought.  However, they neither had the 
quantity needed in brass and their supply of plastic beams was incomplete and 
missing the size I would have needed.  At least they are out if you keep your 
eyes open.

And hobby shop owners wonder why people resort to mail order. Can't even
keep Plastruct columns in stock.


I need to take this opportunity to make a correction. The expanded PVC
material I mentioned earlier is "Sintra", not "Sentra". I always get that
mixed up. Sorry.
