I am about to Arpeggiate all over this keyboard..

All,
the one thing that I hated to see go the most when I sold my Juno6 was it's
arpeggiator.. But you are right in that it scans the keyboard and
arpeggiates those selected notes, so use from a modular or cv/gate keyboard
would be tough indeed. I think that the Quantizer module would allow lots of
cool arpeggiator functions plus a whole lot more. Not that I wouldn't love
to see a cool little arpeggiator module, I just don't see a flexible way of
implementing it.. ALSO!! our beloved 120 module is quite a nice arpeggiator
as it stands!! (although a bit fixed in its ways) Maybe a spin off of this
technology?
how about a list of cool things that could be aded into a quantizer with
arpeggiation in mind? (Since the most common use for a quantizer doesn't
require many controls at all, there would be room for some cool extras)
Imagine the output of a 120 in cross mode with a slow lfo on the osc's FM run
through a quantizer!!! Arpeggiation deluxe!
I have to run right now so I can't afford to sit and ponder this right now,
but I'll work it over at work and report back with my ideas later..........
---Good luck at NAMM Paul, I hope you're ready to pack up lots of ORDERS!!!!
 Take pics for us all!!!!
