Do, you're suggesting a DoDoMOAS, or perhaps GDoMOAS? I wouldn't mind
seeing a simple 8-step, no-memory, CV+Gate sequencer. But to be honest, I
want my delay module first. ;)

(Incidently, I think the idea behind the Concussor line is great! Does
anyone know if there are samples online anywhere? I found one linked from
the Analogue Solutions website, but I'm interested in varied takes. I'd
think about investing in a module or two if they weren't of the Doepfer
design / form-factor.)

There is a basic model in the Thomas Henry Book. Dave, since you finally
now have a copy of that (snicker) why don't you give us your opinion of the
usefulness and features of that design for a "simple" unit NEVER to
measure up or even be compared to DoMOAS or SuperMoe.

The TH seq is 16x2, and still more full featured than we are talking about
here. I'd say you would want to pare features down so that it could fit on a
3U module, max.

In a message dated 00-04-26 15:05:26 EDT, you write:

<< concussor line of small 8 step gate and cv sequencers? >>

steve,
haven`t seen one of those but the "brand d" sequencer is pretty nice. may
well serve adequately for those of a motm persuasion until the "doamas" is
available. some nice features for trgger buses and cv outputs. of course,
the construction, while IMHO, is good, it is obviously not up to motm
standards but mine has performed well and the trigger bus type features give
a dimension not available in another nice sequencer i`ve used extensively,
the "brand s/sts" tkb.
best,
dave v.
