I'm hoping Paul will offer sets of screws as a catalog item in the future.
Both the rack ones and whatever new, shorter ones will be appropriate for
the cabinet rails.

Maybe in bags of 17. That's a nice round number. :)

I'm wondering what people with DIY modules are doing about those nice black
phillips screws for mounting the panels to the mounting rails. Have you guys

found a source? I don't see them listed in the (old) price guide I have from

Paul.

I found some at my local guitar center. Probably paid too much for simple
screws, but they came with plastic washers, and after scrounging through a
bunch of local hardware stores (and finding nothing quite right) I bit the
bullet. I'm guessing other music outlets will have then as well.

That, and the plummeting stock market, as everyone cashes in their stocks to
try to pay the government.

BTW, for all you non-US listers, it is TAX time. I believe this is what's
causing a lot of the "edginess" on the DIY list in the past several days.

Oops, indeed. On that note, a good hardware store should be able to fit you
up with something in a pinch. They just probably won't look as good as Paul
S.'s screws. ;)

hello all,
as i'm using old broadcast spec metalwork as my chassis - i'm using M3.5
(sorry don't know the US equivalent) countersunk bolts, the countersunk head
fits snuggly on the panels, and also helps centre the panel
this information is probably useless to everyone else on the list though...

cheers
