Attenutors/Distibuter/Mixer Mockup

Okay, it's a bit crude and not 100% to scale, but this is what the
Attenuator/Distributor/Mixer panel could look like. I doubt there's much
circuitry to it either.

I'm just laying out something similar but not as clever. Mine is a
simple mixer with reversible attenuators at the inputs. If you restrict
yourself to three inputs only, you can fit it into 1U wide. But the real
bummer is that I've only got the one bicolour LED. Damn, back to
drawing board.

This sounds very much like the Blacet mixer/processer. Very handy little
utility module, I'm thinking about building 1 or 2 more.

gasoline. You'd simply take a cassette and put it in
your car, let it run. You'd have to have the proper
type of music. Like you take two sticks, put 'em
together, make fire. You take some notes and rub 'em
together - dum, dum, dum, dum - fire, cosmic fire."

Tony's idea is more along the lines I've been imagining today (I'll have to
digest Ken's FP a bit more). I have to admit that I like the idea of 1U for a
module like this. I also have to admit I've been thinking more fondly about
the new Blacet mixer (which has reversing attenuators) -- a few months ago I
posted about some experiments involving taking simultaneous outputs from a
single VCO and subtracting out particular waveforms. Please look into this if
you can, I was really surprised. I do think a module like Ken has proposed
would be great for both audio and DC.

Paul, can you suggest a reasonably good all purpose (both Ac and DC) op amp
for such a module if we were to breadboard one?

This last sentence gave me the laugh for today given the Bradley/Barlow LED
debate!
