Tony's idea is more along the lines I've been imagining today (I'll have to digest Ken's FP a bit more). I have to admit that I like the idea of 1U for a module like this. I also have to admit I've been thinking more fondly about the new Blacet mixer (which has reversing attenuators) -- a few months ago I posted about some experiments involving taking simultaneous outputs from a single VCO and subtracting out particular waveforms. Please look into this if you can, I was really surprised. I do think a module like Ken has proposed would be great for both audio and DC. Paul, can you suggest a reasonably good all purpose (both Ac and DC) op amp for such a module if we were to breadboard one? This last sentence gave me the laugh for today given the Bradley/Barlow LED debate! JB
