Just FYI: Metal Bugs In Plastic Cups (MOTM-730)

2009-02-25 by JohnLeightonRice

Unlike Robert Rich's very nice video, my little video below offers no
useful information or pleasant music. (except for the message to Paul
in the opening credits ;-)

It's just some initial messing around I did with my new Synth Tech MOTM-
730 pulse divider.

Best Bug Music I've heard in the last 20min or so :)

Clever use of the Stepped output to speed the creature up.

Thanks Paul! (I think? ;-)

Looking at it this morning the video quality sucks so I uploaded a better
version because . . when you are watching a static video of random bug
sounds, poor video quality can totally ruin the experience! (uuuuhhhmmm . .
. yeah . . . . . ):

Doesn't the 730 also run at audio rates?

Anything interesting you can demo in that mode?

Nice! Out of curiosity, what filters were used?

I used the prototype to simulate the organ drawbars for a Hammond.
There are some sound snippets on my evaluation page. - Dave

Thanks Richard! I'm pretty sure I was only using the MOTM-440 on that demo.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
