New Cabinet & Powersupply
2008-09-12 by James Elliott
I want a power supply that will take care of ALL of my modules (including the newer digital MOTM ones like the 650, 730, etc). I was also thinking of including a "break out" distribution system for items not necessarily installed in the rack - i.e. desktop modules & etc....
I found a power one supply that I think would fulfill my needs and I was wondering if I need to do anything special to use it with my modular. i.e. Do I need to replace capacitors on the MOTM distribution boards?? Do I need to swap the switch & fuse assembly?? Do I need to use a different type of fuse (if so what value)? Please Please Please help me get this set up, I'm tired of using multiple power supplies (I've got about 45 modules - about 3/5 are built).

All help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim
