More MOTM in Philly
2007-04-20 by Terry
Hi Everybody, Since most won't be able to attend the concert in Philly this Saturday at the Gathering, I thought I would post a few pics of the set-up we will be bringing along. Although I will not be playing the MOTM this concert, my fellow band mate, Scott Watkins will be composing on the MOTM system. With no less than 20 MOTM modules, the small modular will be controlled via a Moog 960 sequencer clone, quantized through a Blacet Miniwave with a scale ROM. Our 7 oscillator monster includes to following MOTM modules: 3-300,310,120,820,2-800,2-890,490,440,100,390,190,320,420, 410,480,485. I have a newly aquired digital synth I'll be taking out for the first time. The set is geared for live performance, as I can quickly change sounds from deep digital, to a screaming MS-20 hi-pass filter sound, to an Arp Odyssey with a Moog style ladder filter sound, to a Minimoog sound (almost). Here is a pic of the very portable set: http://mysite.verizon. net/vze6s1hi/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/liveset5.jpg And a close-up of that digital: http://mysite.verizon. net/vze6s1hi/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/shinyredcandylikeb uttons.jpg For anyone who wants to here Orbital Decay, there is an MP3 of our title track of our latest CD "Solar Maxima": http://mysite.verizon. net/vze6s1hi/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderfiles/solarmaxima.mp3 Background pulse done on the MOTM.
