Missing Larry

Missing Larry

Tried not to dwell too much on it today (the airplane crash in NYC made it
surreal in a way).

But I am still missing Larry.

I was cleaning up at home last night, and came across a box of
panels/brackets/jacks/etc. from Larry.

It made me think about how much effort he put in to help us.

Yeah, he didn't know me from Adam, and he was really helpful, very
willing to talk to me on the phone, even when I asked silly questions
because of my lack of knowledge. I don't think I'll be able to part
with anything I got from him...

Actually he did know you from me, because I corresponded with him a number
of times but never talked to him on the phone.

Sorry, bad joke, but I don't get to use it very often.

Yeah, I miss him, too. I think I'll do his VCO fine-control-range
modifications this weekend as a tiny memorial gesture.
