And the gap is approx. 9mm, i.e. it does work for Stooge rails plus front 
panel.

Just be aware that shipment of such a cabinet is not that cheap - I did pay 
250 bucks (to Switzerland) for a garage and a top cab ( BAX Global as US 
Postal doesn't allow that size ).
